Overview
In 2022, Palace approached me to revolutionize their email strategy and design, aiming to propel the brand into a more lux environment. Motivated by their high-profile collaborations with fashion powerhouses like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Calvin Klein, Palace sought a transformation that would refine their bold, skate-inspired ethos while embracing a more sophisticated persona.

The outcome was a strategic evolution that retained Palace's signature attitude, bolstering their reputation as a brand 'for the people', while simultaneously captivating a broader, more discerning audience.
After analyzing the existing email format, as well as the email marketing strategies of Palace's competitors and identifying key elements that aligned with Palace's desired narrative, we developed content buckets to pinpoint the brand's defining moments throughout a packed-to-the-gills marketing calendar.
Our primary objective was to seamlessly integrate Palace's distinctive style—characterized by bold imagery and Lev Tanju's casual, humorous tone—into the content, ensuring a cohesive reinforcement of Palace's identity while strategically driving traffic to the website and app.
The result
After several creative rounds, we settled on a natural continuation of Palace's aesthetic, remaining consistent with their website and app, creating a series of templates for each brand moment that remain in use today.
